Visual Impact: A Dialogue of Organic Forms

The strength of this collection lies in its group effect. Together, the four sculptures create a true little family of characters, playing on contrasts of volume and posture.

The "Chick" Dodu (Light Ochre): Visible in the foreground in the photos, it captivates with its dynamism. Its body is tilted forward and topped with a tubular neck proudly raised towards the sky, evoking a small bird calling out. It bears the artist's hallmark engraved at its base.

The "Curved" Dodu (Fine Sand): , This silhouette is the most anthropomorphic of the group. It features an extremely round, curved back or belly, counterbalanced by a downward-oriented neck that gives it a pensive and gentle attitude.

The "Lookout" Dodu (Medium Ochre): This model adopts a straighter and more hieratic posture, solidly planted on its cylindrical feet, with its neck pointed upwards in a very graphic manner.

The "Shadow" Dodu (Burnt Earth): It is the contrasting piece of the group. Its dark brown, almost black, color breaks with the light hues of its companions and brings depth to the whole.

The Material: The Sensuality of Chamotte Stoneware

A Wild Tactile Texture: Audrey Jezic uses raw chamotte stoneware, without surface glaze. The chamotte (ground terracotta grains) gives it this textured, granular, and intensely matte appearance that beautifully catches glancing light.

A Functional Tubular Neck: Each piece ends with a clean opening. Although they are true abstract works of art on their own, they can serve as minimalist single-flower vases to hold a dried branch.
