The Artisan's Signature: The left shin guard (Suneate) is signed by the master artisan: "Made by Satsuma Kunizumi, 11th generation Mitsunobu" (薩摩國住十一代光忍作). A guarantee of exceptional traceability for collectors.

The Family Crest (Kamon): The small flaps of the helmet (fukikaeshi) as well as the center of the main cuirass proudly display the Maru ni Mokkō Mon, the traditional crest representing a stylized melon in a circle.

The Sacred Ornaments: The helmet (Kabuto) is topped with an impressive golden crescent moon at the front (maedate) and two imposing gold-lacquered horns on the sides (wakidate). The war mask (Menpo) expresses the resseibō (the face of an angry man) with a white mustache to scare the enemy.
